How exited are you for Brink?

Post » Fri May 13, 2011 8:47 pm

The reason i say Other is because it really ranges on certain days. For example I'm gonna guess how I'll be like from now until release date. Right now it's 80-100 because i just looked at the pre-order bonuses and re-watched the Cinematic video. But tomorrow, Maybe for the rest of the week I'll be around 40-60 talking to my other buddy that's stoked about it, Too, At school for a few minutes once in a while about how epic we hope it's going to be. After that I'll probably forget about it for about a month or so. So 10% at most. Then on May 10th I will remember it, Because that's the day i will be going to System Of A Down live and I'll realize, Holy [censored], Best day of my life and a week from now best game I've ever played comes out. At that point I'll be at 40-60 again because for the rest of that week the SOAD show will be eclipsing my thoughts. Then on release day I'll be over 9000 excitement-wise ( Anyone else ever get that? Like, The very first time you ever play a brand new game you're just in an extremely happy mood? Especially on release day. ) Unless I have work that day, In that case I'll be pissed off until i get off shift. Probably staying up all night when i get home and miss out on school the next day, Too. Lol

Frankly, I'm not very excited for the game anymore since a week or so. I rarely find out anything new about it and it's still months away from release. I think about creating a Steam account sooner or later to actually pre-order it, but it's not like I would do it right now because I'm so psyched for the game.

well i know i been going on the forum since join date every day i knew about the game since November 2010 but i wasnt amazed by the first few SS on Steam, video wasn't working right, but after CoD Black Ops's huge let down for me i decided to look a little more and could not be happier with the results fav game was Assassins Creed (even though multiplayer was so glitchy) because i've always been the silent and smart one in FPS games so that game was great for me i loved prowling around on rooftops like in Elder Scrolls III / IV with my Khajiit thief i would always run around on roof tops Balmora was not safe at all ,lol, except i'd forget who i stole from. point is i love the freedom of movement in this game and now i get a shot gun with it.

Im still ashamed i bought blackops, i only did it for nazi zombies, but evrn that disapointed me, not alot of easter eggs/secrets and hints to the story, and i go back to waw once in awhile still.

40-60%: I've still got Killzone 3 to play, and Crysis 2 on preorder.

Tbh if Crysis2 is as good as I'm hoping, Brink will probably be sitting on my shelf for a while before I even play it.

Battlefield 3 looks very pretty I noticed but it seems a lot like every other modern warfare esq shooter. Brown background, some guys in camouflage, army, bla, bla, bla. Its cool if your into that I have nothing against battlefield but I'm certainly tired of (For the most part) the same old recycled stuff with a few new ideas and some nice new graphics. Never heard of red river though.

I can't wait for Brink. Finally something actually new and unique for a change of pace. Oh and 90-100%

I agree with you, Ashamed. Not too many easter eggs, Maybe a few interesting hidden things, all In all I have been going back to world at war every so often with a few friends since they all feel the same.

Watched about It on Game trailers T.V

It looks pretty good they got a cool survival mode In it where you can call In air strike, tank support, fire team= (AI Soilders) Mortars, Helicopter, Gun drop and much more, It looks really cool, Plus they have like most shooters Multiplayer..... but I might rent red river and try that survival mode since no game has done It that way.

Well Brink's been the highest on my radar since around halfway through last year, I dont see myself putting any other releases before it... and I anticipate it will take up most of my gaming time this year.

I have to wait for copies to reach down-under, which will most likely be after US/EU release. THEN I have to pay ridiculous mark-up thanks to silly exchange rates and (I assume) shipping costs. You don't have it TOO bad my friend
;)

Not sure where you are getting your copy of brink from but i get mine on the release date for here in Oz. which is the 19/05/11

Most places still have the release date as "TBA 2011" here.

The only set date I can find is 20th May at mightyape.co.nz, but they're doing the Fallout pre-order bonus, which for, I care not.

You seem to neglect the fact that though Aus is overwhelmingly hot, and half the wildlife is designed to kill you, it's leaps & bounds further from being a total crap hole than NZ.
