I would like more clarity to the exact launch times for each region though, because 5 days head start for Europe starts a lot sooner than 5 days head start for the US, likewise it wouldn't be fair to expect Australia and New Zealand to have to lose a whole days head start because the US server wont open for them at the right time.

That's awesome for you! Not going to happen here as ESO has several things going against it as far as my husband is concered such as 1) he hates fantasy settings, 2) he hates MMOs, 3) he hates RPGs. He is a gamer and spends hours at it but he mostly likes stuff like Killing Floor and driving games, with a bit of action games like Tomb Raider or Sleeping Dogs thrown in and he also enjoys a lot of indie platform games (which is not to be sniffed at, some of them are really difficult)

When I suggested he could use my friend invite for ESO beta for the weekend he looked at me like I'd asked him if he wanted his hand chopped off.

He isn't one of those people who wants everything he doesn't have any interest in to go down in flames though, and pretty much said to me "it looks like just the sort of thing you are into and I hope it is a great game for you". Plus he bought me the Imperial Edition for my birthday and has promised to pay for my monthly sub for as long as I want it. Because not everyone is immature enough to go "wah, I'm not personally interested in that so I hope it's rubbish"

It does help The 30th will be like Christmas for me too...I just hope it goes smoothly but at least I'll be actively doing something to get online as soon as possible even if there are issues. Hope they give us some details soon about launch times, when the final download will be available for the launcher...more info. about the Adventure Zones and tell us what will actually be implemented by the launch date.
