How to find item values.

Post » Mon Mar 17, 2014 7:43 pm

Seeing as there is no global AH in this game, how am i supose to figure out what certian items are worth?

i dont think having to remeber every single items value is possible, is there any quick way to find out how much something is worth to Players? like what pervious people traded for that item, any type of info like that?

Can pick a random price. Ask around. At some point I'm sure fan sites will probably have prices listed. Believe it or not there was a time before auction houses in MMO's where people would ask for a price check on something and people would tell them what it's worth based on their own knowledge. :)

I ran into an issue like this. I was trading a rune to a player and this is basically how the trade went down:

ME: WTS [Rekuta] rune. PM me for offer!PLAYER: How much?ME: Uhh...well.. Make me an offer! PLAYER: ugh, 100 gold?ME: Sure!

I was basically going to make 2 gold for selling it to a merchant anyways, so I decided to sell it for anything. There are way too many item types in this game for a single player to be able to keep tabs on. Once guild auction houses are up and running, i'd assume things will naturally value themselves out.

i agree, i was buying iron ingots for 40 gold from 1 player, another player refused 40 gold and wanted more, while others sold it for 6 gold.. horrible economy, i feel like i going to get mugged each time i trade an item.

so that means there will be guilds soley for the purpose of AH, and they will try to invite as many people as possible. this seems the same as AH, but with less people in the market.

That seems like a very bad idea, EVERYONE will have to find a merchant guild.

You can't really base much off of a beta. Personally I wouldn't even sell anything in a beta weekend anyways myself. I'd just give it away and wouldn't bother buying anything either that one was trying to sell. Completely pointless. :)

I'm sure once the game goes live people will figure something out.
