How to find what Crytek is saying about issues!

Post » Wed Jun 17, 2009 1:10 am

Here are some posts I found by Cry-Tom. I guess they are answering questions in topics where they are hard to find. They have also been closing topics if they are offensive. Crytek you need to put information at the top where people can see. It would also be nice to see you all use twitter to put out information too. They are from various forums. Here I have been thinking Crytek isn't answering us.

I found the best way to see what Crytek is saying is to do advanced search by author, in this case Cry-Tom.

From Cry-Tom:
Hey guys if you're looking for Crytek responses please check the various sticky and notified topics at the top of this forum. We are also actively posting in threads but they get spammed off page 1 pretty quickly at the moment and no-one seems to check them after that.

We will update the forums soon to make each thread with a Crytek post in it a little clearer to help out with this.

Hey guys, no news to be shared on an update right now. Needless to say that the devs check out the forums, and we have a sticky thread in this forum identifying the most important issues in the game at this time. I'll keep you updated and when there is something to announce it'll be at the top of the 360 forum.

When there is a significant update about the PS3 platform i will post a sticky/announcement thread in this forum. Until then the team is currently collecting all known issues that need to be addressed.

Yes we're listening, I don't like to keep copy pasting the same message in each thread but in this instance it's the easiest way to explain;

We’ve been working hard to resolve as many of the post-launch issues as possible including some improvements to our game security. These updates will be made available via automatic-download later this week.

Hey guys, we've been actively moderating every forum, not just each section depending on our feeling at the time. I'm sorry if you feel like we haven't been replying enough in the PS3 section, we're taking all of your feedback on board but do not have anything official to announce regarding changes or updates at this time.

So basically, "Blah blah blah, we still haven't done anything, but now at least we're posting on your forum, right?" That's useful.

Why trade in my system? There are actually plenty of good games for it, Crysis 2 just isn't one of them. It's going to be in the bargain bin, in no time, at the rate that it's going now.
