Hello everyone, if you have encountered this infuriating bug like I have and haven't been able to fix it, I have found a fix that works every time. I tested it a few times to make sure and I've had great success.

I came across the fix by complete accident due to my violent outbreak in game after trying to fix it. Here's what you have to do:

1. Get a Flamer

2. Burn the crops so that they are all destroyed

3. Go into building menu and repair the crops ONE AT A TIME, and after you repair one crop, remove it before moving on to the next one. Sometimes the hit box for the crop will be far off to the side, so move your mouse around the crop until you can select it. Keep in mind that the hit box may be on the other side of your garden, so it may take some patience to find it.

Also, it will take one crop to repair a crop.

I finally heeded Strong's advice and smash things that I don't like or understand, and look where it's gotten me. Hope this helps, especially those on console.

I just save and restart the game when I encounter unselectable crops. On the consoles you might have to reboot (hard restart) the whole system to get the same effect.

Yeah but flamming the whole bloody thing just as that poetic "je ne sais quoi"...hmmm wonder if grenades would work as well, , molotov cocktails, nuking....oh the Theraqeutic posibilities *sighs smiling*
