How to for Idle Objects?

Are there any good tutorials anywhere on how to correctly set up an Idle Object in blender with an appropriate character animation and export it to Oblivion? I can animate, but the only idle objects I can currently export from blender are static ones that do not move in game, I can't do ones like the Bethesda ones that move with animations (like the drinking/painting animations).

I already know how to define an Idle Animation in the Cs, so don't worry about that.
