Then what did you use to make this thread?
You can't go down to your local city/ town library, bring a thumb drive with ya and download a 7MB file?

Do you know anyone that has access to the internet? As schmoe has mentioned many public libraries have free computer use, and there are internet cafes even in cities such as Timbuktu. A 4gb usb flash cost about $5. Easy peasy...

If not, I know you can transfer files from Ipod to pc with software (mediawidget). If you can save large email attachments and transfer files other than mp3's (I'm not really that familiar with Ipod though), then someone here could email the zip to you.

Just a thought...

Well, to be perfectly honest, if you're not even sure your PC can run vanilla Oblivion, getting the Construction Set should be low on your list of priorities right now.

Guess your right. If I had the specs of my computer would you know if it'd run?

Simply run a dxdiag and do a comparison to the;

Minimum System Requirements
  • Windows XP 64-bit, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7
  • 2 GHz Intel Pentium 4 or equivalent processor
  • 512 MB System RAM
  • 4.6 GB free hard disk space
  • 128 MB Direct3D compatible video card and DirectX 9.0 compatible driver;
  • 8x DVD-ROM drive
  • DirectX 9.0c (included)
  • DirectX 8.1 compatible sound card

You can read more http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:System_Requirements

If you're still not sure then post your dxdiag results here.

But yeah, having the CS without the game is kind of putting the cart before the horse.

The other thing that crosses my mind is that wanting the CS before the game implies that you hope to "build your own game" with it. That's almost impossible. The CS is intended for making additions to the game, not a replacement for it.
