How to get 17 INT

Post » Mon Jan 18, 2016 12:07 am

Has anyone tried this:

10 base INT

+1 SPECIAL Book(choose Intelligence)

+1 INT Bobblehead

+ 3 from Rank 2 Night Person (only applies at night ofc)

+2 from various clothing items. I am thinking specifically of Intenal Database modded PA Helmet.

This would give you an additional 50% XP gain at night time.

The You're Special book won't raise your stats above 10.

Is +2 all you can get from clothing/armour? I'm sure I've seen legendary items with +INT.

It can, you just have to take an item that penalizes your INT down to 9, and read the book, it will raise your INT 10, and it will go to 11 when the side effects wear off.

Also there is an item called drugged water, if you happen to be lucky enough to find it, it lowers your perception, but it stacks. Meaning you can get unlimited perception with the dogmeat glitch. I got mine to base of 20.

Chems do not add past 10.

I haven't seen any armor pieces that add INT

I was planning on wearing power armor. I guess between lab coat, glasses and ushanka hats you could get up to 20 INT or so.

Also, I just realized with a PA build you get +2 from database and there are also full paint mods that increase INT by one. So I could get 18 actually

Base 11.

Night Person perk gives 3.

Berry Mentats give 5.

Sharp legendary affix in every slot gives 5.

Glasses give 2.

Hat gives 1.

That is 27 intelligence.

If you are willing to mod to make the mechanic jumpsuit an undersuit, which is should be anyways but isn't because Bethesda are silly, you can get 28.
