How to get new fall outs.

Post » Thu Dec 23, 2010 10:57 pm

Well I started playing Fall out 3, which was a few days ago I'v never played them before, I had a little money at Wal-Mart so I decided to get it ever since I did I have not been able to stop haha its a awsome game actually probably the best I'v ever played, my friend's told me there making one for every state I dont know if thats true? But I started looking around I plan on getting "New Vegas" and I also wanted "Mothership Zeta" and every other one in simple terms haha, anyways the main question I had was, are they making all of them "Point Look out" "Mothership Zeta" ect ect for Ps3 (I hate the Ps3 but I had to sell my Xbox 360 and a Ps3 is all I have to work with now ;( ) I looked on youtube and people are already playing all of them?? I's it some kind of "Expansion" to the original Fall out 3, or is it actually a Disc and not some add on pack, I also thought they just might be making them for PC's only which would be a big blow.

Thanks ;P sorry If I posted this in the wrong place lol. I had a question about the Enclave and the brotherhood, but I dont think this is the correct place to it.

Operation: Anchorage, The Pitt, Broken Steel, Point Lookout, and Mothership Zeta are all add-ons to Fallout 3. New Vegas is an entirely new game. The add-ons for Fallout 3 have been available on the PS3 for months, but they are know to be VERY glitchy.

Yeah, some PS3 gamers don't experience many problems at all with all of the DLC added while some end up sufficient problems to make the game unplayable. It seems to be tied to memory - the more a single character has done the more likely they are to run in to problems. I don't have a PS3 myself but it seems to me that the new content should be spread across several characters if possible.

New Vegas is being developed by Obsidian Entertainment and uses a modified version of the FO3 engine. As for doing a game for every state, that's just plain wrong. It wouldn't surprise me if Bethesda's next game takes place in a different region - possibly the Commonwealth (Massachusetts) but there are no plans to jump to a new state with each game. FO3 involves two states, three if you count the Pitt and four if you count the Operation Anchorage simulation.

Thanks, so where can I get the add ons?

I believe they're all on PSN, if you want a hardcopy you can pick up the Fallout 3 Game of the Year edition. The GOTY edition includes FO3 itself but its priced the same as the five DLC alone.

I assumed that they were making one for each state because they have one for Washington, and a few other states I thought they were just oging to keep moving from there, but where can I get these add ons? Thanks appreciate it.

O and since there add ons, do they go from your original character...like does it save everything that already happend...say I blew up megaton with that nuke, would that affect me any way in the add on's? I dont think they do, but Im just wondering.

You still play as the same character, but no choices carry over.
