How to get en OPEN NAT ?

Post » Fri Dec 31, 2010 11:36 am

yeah, same.

I have a 'Strict' NAT and i get a warning everytime i go into multiplayer saying that I may not be able to join matches or whatever, it's so annoying.

I've done EVERYTHING that could possibly be envolved with the NAT type, I've opened up all the needed ports on my router, no luck, I've even completely disabled my firewall (not wise) and still nothing, I'm starting to think there is nothing i can do.

Please fix this Crytek.

i dont think that it works properly, iv my computer IP set as the DMZ and every other game says that iv got a open NAT but crysis still says its at moderate. that that said i haven't played muiltiplayer since the last two patches have been out so my problem could of been fixed.

mine is moderate as well...is this the reason i get so few servers with ping under 1000? I filer to only show servers with ping less than 250 and about 500 or so are filtered out and i have around 5-10 to choose from. (using other filters too obviously)
