How do I get rid of distant LOD models?

I am trying to make a mod that removes the inner gates of the Vegas Strip. One of the problems I run into is that when I enter the game, low resolution LOD models show up when I am far away even though the original (wall) models have been deleted in the geck.

Any help is appreciated

You'll have to regenerate the LOD for that cell. Generating, LOD is not a simple task and, takes quite a bit of knowledge to properly pull off.

You may want to look at my LOD essentials pack from FO3. The readme gives a basic (but, far from perfect, complete) Tutorial on the process. Look at my signature, Chucks LOD Essentials.

It's good stuff, I use it too. :)

Thanks for making this Cev, LOD is one of those very cryptical aspects of Fo3/FNV modding that I never enjoyed.
