And I've decided that the quest "No Stone Unturned" is too much of a pain in the ass for me to actually undertake. Thus, I'd prefer to just use console commands to get rid of the stones, so I won't be tempted to pick them up if I come across them, clogging my inventory with undroppable items I never intend to complete the collection to.
I know the console command "markfordelete" is what I should use to get rid of the stones. Thus, if I'm in the correct cell, I could just type in "0009dfbb.markfordelete" and the stone would be gone next time I enter the cell (which, for some places, is never).
But, do I have to actually be in the cell for it to work? Is there some specific prefix I can type in so that the game will delete the unusual gem in a cell that I specify? For example, could I simply use type in "ThalmorEmbassy05.0009dfbb.markfordelete" or something similar, without actually having to be in that cell, and it'll work nonetheless?
How would I go about doing that? I'd prefer not to have to teleport to all 24 cells, as simply the console commands needed to delete them are going to e tedious enough.
