Hey guys new here but not new to fall out. I have multiple accounts one at lvl 20 and my main one is lvl 30. I would really like a place of my own in the wasteland.

I must have missed something when giving the ghouls tenpenny tower but how do i get the key for the empty suit?

Or if its too late for that is there any other places i can have a place to myself?

For the key you have to make the deal with Mr. Burke in megaton to activate and detonate the nuke. Then you are awarded with the key and caps and maybe a few other items.

To get the key you have to destroy Megaton by detonating the bomb. I'm pretty sure you have to do this before the mess with the ghouls. Another place, and the one I like more is the house in Megaton. You get this by disarming the Nuke in the center of the town. Other spots need to be cleared out before use. My favorite is Eugene's place (I think that's his name, the guy from Paradise Falls) it's spacious, has a nice bed, and you get lot's of loot from the surounding area. You do have to kill a lot of slavers though, and you will permanently piss off any other slavers you come across.
Another good spot is vault 101 after you clear the locals out.
