How To Get a Set of Armour for Dogmeat

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 12:54 am

Hey guys, so I was forever trying to put normal armour on Dogmeat without realising you have to find dog armour.

Well I located an area that you can obtain body armour and a helmet from him. It does seems as though its a luck based drop though as I only got the helmet :( Hope you have better luck.

Or, at the very least, we should be able to rivet a few steel plates to him, right? I want to mod my dog.

Ive found "dog armor", bandannas and chains, however, the "dog armor" that I've found has zero protection qualities.

I don't think it matters in his case if it protects him or not. I was fighting molerats, and my target critter jumped out of the way. The result was that I shot Dogmeat right in the face at point blank range with a modded laser rifle, and he didn't even blink. I know he was already dinged by the molerat, so I was amazed he survived.

Being attacked by various raiders with dogs I've found Light Armour, Armour, Collar, Chain, Spiked Collar, Studded Muzzle. So I have him in the Armour, Spiked Collar, Studded Muzzle and a set of Welding Goggles.

Welding goggles and 'baby bib' bandana looks way cooler than the rusty looking armor.

If there was cool looking dog armor, I'd use it (mods for sure eventually), but for now the classic motorcycle dog look is fine.
