how to get some HUD elements to always be on?

Post » Fri May 17, 2013 10:54 am

While I usually roleplay and always use solely immersion mods, HUD is something that I love having around and was amused by lots of on-screen info ever since I was a small child.

Is there any ini setting that would let me have things like HP, MP and fatigue bars always on instead of vanishing? I also wouldn't mind at all if level-up bar would always be present. I also take mod suggestions but those mods should be compatible with Less Intrusive HUD and Immersive HUD.

Thanks in advance!

The http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/3222/? mod is a must have for me and it is compatible with LI HUD.

I think there would be mods that allow it. Unfortunately us console users have either the whole HUD or no HUD.

I'd swear I wrote that. Anyway, thank you for suggestion, but I'm using that already and as far as I know it doesn't offer an option for having things on screen permanently, only to have things on screen much shorter or not having them at all (which I use for removing the comapss).

EDIT: spelling

The latest version allows for use with the MCM menu from SkyUI, requiring SKSE. Either way, you can have any part of the HUD on, off, or fade.

I stand corrected... So sorry. I recently adjusted the iHUD for FO3 and could have sworn that the Skyrim version offered the same functionality It seems it does not.

However, you should be able to tweak the ini line for the M/H/S to be a 1 or set "always on" to be true or fade to be false, or something similar.

Not a problem. :) Just checked, have the latest version anyway. I'll see if I can find anything in the inis (why couldn't they stick everything in a single one like in the past :s).

You might get more accurate info and suggestions if this was moved to the CK or mod forum. Sorry I could not have been of better assistance.

I hope you get them set to your liking. Please post your results if you figure something out. :tops:
