I think I found the cause of the game killing bug. It has happened to me three times and always under the same conditions. I had to do a full uninstall/reinstall and start over so no quick fix yet. Basically I am getting the bug when I am in a wifi hotspot that requires a password. Your phone or device will detect the wifi and try to connect to it but because you don't have the password you will be blocked from connection until you sign in. If you open the game like this you will scramble the file and after will crash the game every single time you open the app until you uninstall it. For me this was a McDonalds wifi hotspot for all three times it happened.

Yes, I can confirm this as well.

Same thing has happened to me, I had normally played with WiFi turned off at home and I was able to play the game for over a week, then when I brought it to work, it was working fine until I had activated the WiFi, and tried using it on my way home, then it crashed.

Now I can't play it. I have 193 dwellers...but looks like I have to reinstall and loose all my progress.
