How to get 3D working?

Post » Thu Aug 13, 2009 6:24 am

I need some help/questions answered regarding the 3D feature Crysis 2 includes.

I have no idea whatsoever how to get it to work. I have a 3D tv, but when I turn the 3D on in Crysis, the TV says "3D signal not found".

Is this because I used an RGB cable to connect my laptop (I play on my laptop cause my pc isn't good enough for Crysis 2) to the tv? Do I need to use a HDMI cable?
Or does the device I'm playing on (pc/laptop) need to have 3D support? I looked in my nVidia Control Panel, and there is a support for 3D settings but I have no idea how to configure this (if I have to configure it at all).

Please help me out here, I'm so excited about this 3D.

Thanks.

if I'm not mistaken you may have to have two connector, for example, two DVI from you signal source to the 3D TV, I don't have a 3D TV so I'm not really sure about this though, and I don't understand why you got a 3D TV but no decent desktop rig xD
