How to get your butt kicked with the Code Patch

NPC AI casts zero cost powers

Enables NPC AI to select and cast zero cost powers. The AI prefers to cast their higher cost spells, so all zero cost powers are given the importance of a 20 magicka spell.

This does make the game significantly more difficult, as standard powers can be powerful or frustrating. You should be aware of what the racial powers are, and may need to mod their durations.

I enabled this, as I thought it strange that NPC Redguards never use Adrenaline Rush, and so on. Now I am getting STOMPED. Wow....

So, how do you disable one of these fixes after you turn it on?

Uncheck it. Apply patches again.

Yeah, that option can make some NPCs very tough.

On the note of the MCP, I have enabled and disabled the TR map adjustment in the MCP (I didn't much care for the zoomed out map), and now my map is incredibly screwed up. Anyone happen to know if there's a way to fix that?

if you use Wyre Mash there's an option to rebuild your map, i think it's under the options for the saves tab

Does it buff creatures, too? I had been pimp-slapping Flame Atronachs one minute, and getting pimp-slapped myself the next, right after enabling the zero-cost skills.

I'm pretty sure it's NPCs only.
Flame Atronachs only have one fire spell anyways, but it can strike at 1-25 damage, so its strength is varying each time.

I think balancing would be encountering an enemy who already used its power that day. Determined with our Luck?

On the other hand:
Weakness to Magicka 500
Drain Health 500, 1s

WGI's re-balancing of magic effects costs would help with that...

Yeah, but it is a dreadful idea because it screws your map up hardcoe.

Well, it's PLAYABLE but you end up with a grid on your map that looks funky and distorts the map a little. It might at least show you TR.

Well it's hard to get worse than how badly my map was already screwed up. Thankfully, you can disable those grid lines (for the most part)
