I am on an xBox 360, and I am trying to give my equipment to Malborn so he can smuggle it into the party, but I can't seem to give him any equipment. When I select the "I'm ready" response, it jumps to Objective complete and moves straight to the "Meet Delphine at the stables" objective. I have game save just as I enter the Winking Skeever, so I can easily jump back and try different buttons...

Any suggestions?

It worked fine for me. i'm not really sure what you can try on the 360.

What equipment did you give him, and how?

i gave him my sword and my DB armor. and there was an option for giving him stuff. try reloading the save and look at all the talk options you might have missed something.

There are only a few options when talking to Malborn...

The first is to tell him the a mutual friend sent me... and then its following with just 3 options:

What should I bring
Hold on, I need more time
I'm ready... here's what I'll need


I gone through every combination and the result is the same.

Okay... After loading the saved gamed 5 times, "X" for give appeared in the Item window.... Looks like I am all set now.

I'm on PC and it happened to me on this player, but on my last player it did not. So it must be a random glitch
