How hardcoe will you be with roleplaying?

I don't do the Dead is Dead or Premdeath stuff, I like my role playing but I think that is just stupid IMHO specially if I have spent 40 hours in the game than i die, why the hell would i want to start all over again? I can understand why people WOULD but its not for me, if I die I normally just reload a save file and pretend it never happend, otherwise i could ask the people who are into the Dead is Dead kinda logic as Why do you choose to create a save file than for your character? I mean you are reloading the game up every time you turn if off so why not just make a new character every time you turn off the game? Its not like WE as people IRL can just "TURN OFF"

I think a better question would be why would the idea of somebody applying this rule would bother you so much. Some folks like to invest a great deal of time and thought into their character, while some other folks like to just turn on their console/PC and numb out for a few hours. To each their own, brohemoth.

Exactly. Though, I do recommend starting off with stealthier skills and combat style. From my experience playing "dead is dead", straight combat should only be resorted to either when you know you can win or you have no other choice. The game gets so much more intense playing it that way though, I can't go back now :(.

Brohemoth??? It doesn't not bother me all that much because I for one would not play that way, I did not say the people who do play that way are wrong tho, like you said to each their own.
I just don't find the thought of adding in half my life or weeks atleast of playing one game, to end up dying to my own mistake to start all over again.Like I said before, I can understand WHY people would do this and HOW it makes pretty good sense, BUT I just can't see myself wasteing all that time with a character I took so much time to make and tone and make as I want her/him to be only to end up deleting it all, I mean, it might just be me, but I tend to become "connected" with my characters.

I was just saying I would not play that way and consider it stupid but that is just my opinion just like how me making my character go to sleep at a certain time each ingame day and do certain things every other day is stupid, each is our own opinion and I am allowed to have one just like the next person.

I will eat, drink, walk when there's no reason to hurry, sleep at nights, go everywhere manually and without fast travel, and basically try to make it as much of a hardcoe role play as i can.
i don't like the idea of permadeath however. it doesn't make sense to work on a player for months, make a mistake and die, and just throw away months of work.

I'll play through the game a couple times, explore the world, get immersed in its culture, do the sidequests, experiment with different play styles, etc. etc. Once all of that is done, I'll play a game exactly like you're describing. I'll also write up backstory, character traits, etc. for my character. Yes, I'm a hardcoe role-player. :D

I have some real life that meets all my hardcoe immersion needs.

In the game, I'm going to ignore sleep, food, water, and physics (e.g.: I will change direction mid-jump at just about every opportunity). I will abuse the [censored] out of fast travel, waiting, and every other mechanic the developers see fit to include in the game. I will save-pick/steal-etc-reload at things I think I might fail at. In short, I'm going to enjoy my time and not micro-manage a [censored] thing.

And I'll probably do it all on Very Easy settings.

Best of all, I will enjoy the [censored] out of the game and probably spend hundreds of hours playing it. And all without hardcoe micro-managing. Funny thing, that.

I wouldn't mind a hardcoe mode or a realism mode (which seems like what you would want) But I tend to focus my roleplaying on my character, playing a certian role.

For instance, im going to play as a necromancer who specializes in skeletal summoning (and raising) and frost spells.
And I will maintain that role through my accumulation of items, enchanting certian items, and behavior.

So I guess not very hardcoe. But it will be enjoyable for me.

This is one major reason why I wish we were (are) given more gameplay options, such as mounted combat, spears, thrown weapons, and crossbows. Each of these increases the different types of character we can make. The three I would most like to make are 1) A mounted knight in heavy armor who uses lance, shield, mace, and crossbow, 2) a light armored barbarian who uses dual wield axe/sword, two handed weapons, and thrown weapons, and 3) a rogue (medium or light armor) who uses sword/shield, dual wield daggers, and a bow. Oh and maybe some type of evil sorcerer.

I'm not a hardcoe roleplayer, my own personality comes through too often, but I really like the idea of a game that forces to act my characters more real. For instance, while I really, really want at least the option for "hardcoe mode" for stuff like the need to eat, if it wasn't a need, I'm not sure I would bother with it. The whole point would be that if I were in the wilderness I'd have to hunt an animal or eat plants to survive. Or that if I didn't have the money to pay for food in town, I'd have to steal.
