How Is Healing Powder Used?

Post » Tue Jul 19, 2011 5:39 pm

I was recently on the wiki and someone asked, "How is Healing Powder Used?". I think it's a good question, we know it fogs the mind when administered and is a powder, but do you snort it or rub it in the wound or what?

If a dev could clarify it would be great, but the user base can get creative with their answers as well. But as a rule to avoid an over-abundunce of silliness you can only give one joke answer and one serious answer in your post, beyond that you can debate how the mysterious powder in a bag is used.

Personally, I think you just rub it in the wound.

Or burn it like insence and inhale the healing smog.

As in, I know you click on healing powder to use it, but how is it administered to heal you?

WTF kind of answer was that?

I think it is rubbed on the wound, but the sound of using sort of sounds like chewing a granulated powder.

So the medicine man in FO2 was a drug dealer who broke Scar-Face's rule of never getting high off your own supply? Explains quite a bit.

It's made from a couple of common plants, so I wouldn't think it's anything too crazy. Also, doesn't Sunny Smiles teach you to make it initially? She doesn't seem like much of a crack fiend.

Now, if it was made from Med-X, Buffout and Box of Detergent, that'd be another story...

You put in milk and stir it like milo mmmmmm....

Nah but I do think you rub it in the wound or maybe grind it with added water then rub it in the wound.

I always thought of it being applied to the wound like a poultice would be.

Id like to think there are several forms of Administration. With anol administration being the most common route used in the wasteland. This alone explains why the legion are so very angry, and cruel all of the time. Studies show large amounts of any substance left within the anus, for an extend period of time, creates a chronic negtive attitude.
