how do i install SkyRe with ASIS?

Post » Sun Nov 17, 2013 4:20 pm

I know about the guide by Iroha over at the STEP forum but according to the recent posts in that thread, it is outdated and some steps are redundant/unnecessary. Can anyone please spare a few minutes to help me get these two mods working together? Just a quick bullet point list would do. Thanks in advance.

Install both mods using whatever mod manager you use. Then use BOSS.

You should see this load order from BOSS at the end:

ASIS-Dependency.esp

ASIS.esp

ReProccer.esp

SkyRe_EnemyAI.esp (note this plugin may not be here if you didn't choose it when installing SkyRe)

So what you need to do is activate ASIS-Dependency.esp and ASIS.esp (leaving the bottom 2 deactivated) and run ASIS patcher, then activate ReProccer.esp and run reproccer patcher. Finally activate SkyRe_EnemyAI.esp (initially it should be deactivated). Alternatively if you don't want to do this manually every time, you can use the mod SUM (find it on nexus). SUM basically automates this process for you and runs all your dynamic patchers. With SUM the process would simply be 1. Run SUM 2. Activate SkyRe_EnemyAI.esp manually. SkyRe_EnemyAI must be deactivated when running ASIS as written in the BOSS notes.

Thanks! ^^

A few questions:

* Should I be using http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/37605/ mod?

* What about the patches by http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/29375/ and http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/27092?

* Any INI tweaks I should be doing like http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/38238/ one?

* What about http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1091919-unofficial-skyre-script-fixes/ one?

To be honest not completely sure on all of those. I'm not using any of them at the moment. I might need to look into this...

Btw, don't forget to add the perk exclusions to ASIS in the AuomaticPerks.ini. Under [PERKEXCLUSIONSCONTAINS] you need to add the following

Edit: ok looking at the "Skyre ASIS Inis" file it's basically someone putting the required info into the ini's and uploaded them. SkyRe just says you need to add the perks to be exluded, not sure what that mod author changed besides this.

Edit2: In fact I don't even understand the compatibility patches I mean why is there a patch for Frostfall. How does SkyRe even conflict with Frostfall...

also i think you are required to provide an exception to Asis patcher about skyre_main.esp and then run the patcher its been mentioned on skyre's mod page

there was a strict mentioning of this on skyre's mod page before in earlier version and before tendos gave a new look to the mods main page maybe there is something in skyre-guide pdf file now since thats the readme or guide to skyre im not exactly sure if it was skyre_main file or some other skyre plugin but there was some. the people who were using skyre from long time all knew about providing exception to asis but i dont know if its still needed. i have never used Asis before so dont know more about it now but providing the exception thing i remembered from before.

Ah k. As far as I know the ASIS ini already includes the Enemies.esp module in the exclusion list. The only thing I know of that requires manual modification is to exclude those perks I mentioned above.
