Attack Umbra and run to the imperial city, and the guards will attack her.

Lots of guards will die you can sell there armor and weapons for money.

Alot of running to do.

You have to be careful doing this though......attacking Umbra can count as an assult, so you might do that massive ride to the IC just ot be arrested by a guard. From memory you need to sneak attack umbra so that it doesnt count as an assult.

You also *have* to use a horse, umbra can run very fast and will hack you to pieces if you dont have a horse.

Though, this is a well known stratergy. Like most things in a game this old, someone has seen your great idea before.

Yeah, she′s not that hard. I was the same lvl as in Morrowind when fighting Umbra and in Morrowind he wasn′t a joke

I think the guards only arrest you for assault if your character doesn't have any sort of status yet, like some fame or guild affiliation. Otherwise, I've heard the same strategy. Park the horse just outside the front door of the dungeon and then walk in and sneak attack her (from a distance) with a bow and arrow. Then run for it!
