You could sleep in the game to let the three days pass. That doesn't matter. Just so long as three full days pass.

The sleeping thing don't work for me... I kind of triyed it... well the key thing about if it works or not is a dead super mutant at the entrence of Rivet City, just befor the bridge.

And for the dust/goo piles, ... I will need to see.
