How long do does each race live?

Post » Sun Jun 17, 2012 7:55 pm

I was wondering if anyone knew how long each of the 10 races lived? For some reason I can't seem to find this information on uesp or the imperial library.

All the races of men live average life spans.
All the races of mer, excluding orcs (they live to be about sixty), live a few hundred.
I'm not sure about the beats races.

This is all assuming no magic is involved, which can drastically extend life. =)
Hope I was able to help!

Ok I'm confused mainly because from what I read in the timeline Titus Mede II becomes emperor in the 4E in year 17 and is still alive up to the time of the dragonborn which is year 201 of that era. Idk if that could be some kind of misconception or what but if thats the case then imperials can live beyond the average life span.

I believe that was explained by saying the Titus Mede we see in game is the Grandson of the previous Titus Mede.

First off, this is the fanfiction forum, but this question belongs in the lore forum. You should request a move.

Second off, we don't know conclusively how long each race lives, but it's generally assumed that humans live roughly average lifespans, and elves tend to live longer. The only race who's lifespan we know is Dunmer; they very heavily dependent on class; commoners tend to live from about a hundred to two hundred, whereas nobles can live for centuries. That info is from http://www.uesp.net/morrow/preview/morinter1.shtml.

Hope that helps :)

OH! My bad I misread it. Apologies.
