They said that the game can last more than 400 hours .... Someone confirm if that's true?
Have people ending with less than 70 hours... Fallout 4 has less content than The Witcher 3?

If you want to do the main quest, explore every bit of the map, and rebuild all the settlements I think it could go on forever... lol.
Yes, and if you sprint through it you might do it in 70 hours or less. So how it lasts is kind of up to the player.
It doesn't have less content just because the player chooses not to see all the content, unless perhaps you want to be very philosophical about it.
As a previous post alluded to, it depends on the metric used to determine the length of a game like this.Do you consider completing the mainquest and the salient side quests as 'finishing' it, even though there's different builds to try, settlements to be made, and differing choices to be considered?
As it is for the totality of the series, if want to do more; there is more to do.
Can't imagine to spend 400h to see everything the game has to offer. 150h to complete all quests and clean all loactions seems to be more likely
I'm around 40 hours right now, and I just entered Diamond City...
I've been putting off entering Boston because I've been enjoying the outskirts, and even though I heard people talk about the "verticality" of the game it didn't seem that much of a huge deal (a big deal, but not a huge deal)....
but then I saw the city skyline as I crossed that one bridge and....wow.
I almost regret not coming there sooner.
Almost.
That just depends on how you play it. If you rush its not going to last long. I can for sure see myself getting over 400+ hours out of this game.
I played Skyrim for 120 hours and got bored... completed the main quest at hour 80 and spent 40 hours doing other stuff...
I suspect Fallout 4 will be much the same.
I beat the game in roughly 27 hours. I know there are people who have beat it in 19 hours.
The main problem that I have with the whole "400 hours" thing is that none of it is tied into the story. The only reason you would need the quests is to level up to a comfortable point where you can complete the game, but all the game itself is not really reliant on that content to be completed. There is also end game content where you can explore the wasteland afterward.
To counter that. My main character in Skyrim has been on the go for 4 years, 450+ hours and still hasn't completed the main quest.
As for F4, I'm at 83 hours as of last night and still have loads to do.
The main quest can be beaten quite quickly i imagine, like all Bethesda games. But if you take time and do missions for each faction and all the sidequests that are out there. Easily hundreds of hours.
Im not saying it is entirely a bad thing that everything is not tied into the story but I liken this to Batman Arkham Knight. Arkham Knight also had side quests and missions but none of them had anything to do with the story and you could literally play through the main story without touching 1 of those side quests. And that was very annoying.
What would have been nice if there was more story related content than what is already there. They could have made each faction have more hours with unique quests than they currently have. The fact that a lot of people have beat this game around 20 hours just tells me that more could have been done with story missions for each faction. I just hope that the DLC that comes out doesnt pull a Destiny by purposely ripping out content from the original game and selling it later to turn profit.
You likely can beat any game in under 20 or so if you rush through the main quests . Most games can likely be done in under 10 hours. Then you have the speed runners.
For me I do not think I will ever finish this game or any Bethesda game. I only did finish the main quest in FO3 pre Broken Steel. I never finished Broken Steel. I have thousands of hours in each Bethesda game except for FO4.
The thing right now is that it is common for people to rush through the game to get to end game and then want more content and things to do. But a lot of those players skipped through 80%+ of the game to get to the end.
The main story can likely be beaten in a few hours like most Bethseda games. But if you explore and do side quest it can take a long time. I said I was going to beat the main story today but got caught up in side stuff.
nope, there's like 300 locations alone, you can't do quests without supplies and killing enemies, you need ammo, supplies, talking to npcs for the quests, all that takes time, i've played 100 hrs already and have only done about 20 quests and explored like 15 % of the map.
no way in hell the main quest can be done in a few hours, and not 10 hrs either, no possible way, you cna't just rush through, you're gonna be dying a ton, you need weapons, you need some supplies, i would like to watch someone try to do the entire main quests in 10 hrs or less, prob more like 20 hrs if you managed to do everything just right and familiar with fallout in the first place
