i dont know how long it takes it seems to vary...there are some bodies in some locations that havnt gone away in any game ive started...the bodies in ratway for example...right now i got a couple dragon cultist bodies that have been in riverwood since the day i downloaded the DLC. on the other hand, other bodies seem to disappear in a few days...

Not really. Been a in-game month and the ones in the rataway are still there. Alvor died in the beginning of my play-through...still there.

I killed her month and months ago in-game and she's still there. Same with the ratway bodies. Fortunately, the corpses around Lakeview Manor disappear over night (better for curb appeal and for the kids).

just throw her body in the river, it'll do all the work!

yah its been like 6 in game months for me cuz i was doin a lot of 24 hour waiting in a row for some other purpose somewhere else and when i went thru the bodies were still in the ratway
