Getting into alchemy for poison damage. But one thing ...

How long does poison / potions last for when applied to weapons? I've checked the magic status before and after using a poisoned weapon and i never see anything. There is no indicator on screen when playing.

Is it one shot only?

Used on next hit, one shot for poisons (you'll see the 'glow' around them as it triggers - if it works). Not sure if they fade on zoning, though why you would poison a weapon without someone to use it on is beyond me
