I Know a lot of people on these forums won't be picking up Skyrim for quite a while because they aren't done, me being one of them how long will it be untill you pick it up?

I'll buy it as soon as I see it... hopefully on the release date.

Friday morning, after I get off work Thursday (I work nights) so I can't go to the release party at GameStop unfortunately. But it'll give me all day Friday to play until I go to work Friday night, and Friday night my girlfriend will play all night while I'm at work. I probably won't sleep for like 3 days. lol.

I estimate I have a couple more years in Oblivion before I'm ready to move on. During that time, I'll be watching Skyrim and evaluating it. If it passes muster, then I suppose I'll look to buy it then. If not, I would expect to expand Oblivion with some more mods or look beyond TES.

Almost independent of that, I don't buy new games anyway. Not until they are sorted out, patched, wiki'd and fully ready for elven consumption. Oblivion was out over a year before I bought it.
