I don't think it will last long for a few reasons. Most of the people will flee to Modern Warfare 2 and Battlefield 3. I know there are big fans of this game still playing and I still find decent lobbies while playing on Xbox but I am afraid that won't be enough with all these famous shooters coming out and all the problems the game still has.

I will still play. I was there the first day it came out in USA and I will still be there the last day. I love this game. The graphics, the sounds, the gameplay. It's all amazing. Too bad it did not get treated how it should have. For this I am going to play on PC as well when I buy my new one. I don't want to stop playing this game online.

This game will die out quickly for the reasons listed by Kumbhkarna but also because it's received almost no support on the consoles. There really hasn't been an effort to try and fix the rest of the issues going on in the game. I like C2 actually its the only game I play at the moment. But once Gears 3 comes out I won't be playing it at all.

Hi,

I don't think it will last long too...
Blockbusters are coming and I think I'm the only one who have bought the 2 MAP PACKS - I feel so alone .... Nobody on Carnage and Vengeance...
What a waste of money ....

And of course DLC aren't refundable ....

I don't think it will die out as quickly as people are saying when I see games like call of Juarez 1 and bfbc1 still being played. I mean this game has sold well over 3 million copies.

i think your right it wont die as quick as we say it will, but you have to remember them games you mentioned are pretty succesful its a shame cz all it takes is one more update and a lot more people will stay.

Well look at far cry 2 it sold around 3 million copies. It had a lot of problems. And everyone said it was going to die out, but people are still playing it. I think far cry 2 and crysis 2 are similar in those ways , I know there won't be hundreds of thousands people playing a day but I think there will always enough people to get a couple games of team instant action until the next crysis.
