Create an NPC of any Merchant class.
*Do not check autocalc stats.*
Press the AI button and you'll see where you can choose his services.
Create an Offer Services AI pack or add a default one.

Oh.. no "Autocalc stats"?
Damn i was thinking that i could a package for my companions, a time of day to recharge / repair items.
So I suppose that it cannot be done.
I can have both (have them level with me and fight with me, and recharge/repair items when they are not following...)

Sure it can be done. Autocalc has nothing to do with that. Autocalc determines the NPC's stats based on the level you've given them.
If you want to create a companion and have it level with you, then check PC Level Offset. You'll notice the Level box changes to an Offset box. A value in there is the difference in levels between you and the NPC.

You *can* check Autocalc stats to reset stats, then uncheck it again. But if you want your NPC to recharge/repair, it can't be checked.

From experience, the "Offers Services" package must apparently always be a Travel one, or it won't work for barter. I tried a Wander, and the NPC would repair or recharge but not buy or sell. The merchant container should be in the same cell as the marker location for the service package, or you can get odd issues.
