Is there such a console command to activate a dialogue option to convince him not to kill the BoS?

Can't do without completing the quest via console (i.e. bypassing the objective). Check the wiki if you're looking for console commands.

Also, get over it. Your boss wants you to kill them. If you don't like it, don't work for him. If you wanna work for him, get the job done. They're just a bunch of arrogant yahoos anyway.

Interestingly there is stuff in the quest entries that suggest there was supposed to be adiplomatic solution to the quest. Regardless, use console command "setstage 147889 100", this will make the game think you already have destroyed them. This may cause issues later on, so have a save before using it.

Anyway, I've already completely the game about a week ago. I went to destroy Mr. House instead and went independent in the end. I'm just asking for future reference when I'm going on the next playthrough should I side with Mr. House. I didn't want to kill BoS because of Veronica. She has a place in my (game)heart.
