Ok, I'm going to put this whole post the way I think Strong would say it.
Me want blinkie lights! Me put lights down, me put computer in, me put power counter in! Me hook them with wire thingies! Me pound on keys and no blinkie lights! Why!?!

I actually got it to work. I had to use the interval thing instead of the power counter. Not exactly how I wanted it. I wanted around 10 or so lights constantly changing colors and blinking. But close enough for now.
Build a terminal (power>miscellaneous) and connect it to your power grid, that is if you are trying to do what it is that I believe you want to do. The terminal should allow a variety of options for your lightboxes (power>miscellaneous). If you are attempting to control other lights, I'm afraid you will disappointed.
I hope this helps.
