Only one in Whiterun with 65 hours of gameplay, and the skeleton has stayed in the small little market place forever.

There was a period of time when I moving out of Breezehome into Solitude, and EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I entered the city, there would be a freakin' Dragon.

Many Solitude citizens lost their lives as I was too encumbered to reach them in time and slay the beasts.

1 in Whiterun, it killed Adrianne :(
However I think it wasn't necessarily going to happen inside the city, as I had just reloaded after seeing it killed by a giant near to the bridge a little way outside the city. I had hidden under the bridge as I was over encumbered. Then I got killed by MUD CRABS and had to reload, sad but true.
On reload, I didn't see the dragon until I got inside the city gates and was working at Adrianne's forge.. the dragon flew over a few times, she shouted at it, then it killed her, and I killed it.

You lucky one! I was able to kill my dragon at a perfect place but it disappeared when I visited in inn. These three picks shows the place where it died:

Lucky?! Every time I visited Breezehome for the next two weeks, the skeleton would flop into existence and roll around in the street whilst people wandering past would go "Oh!" as though they hadn't noticed a multi-ton winged carcass in their city :|

Also, those pictures are awesome. :P

That's what the one I killed looked like -- I killed it in the graveyard (fitting) and it somehow moved until it was clipping through the Ratway. Shame it's gone, I sort of liked seeing a dragon skull poking out of a wall.

One in Riften. That's the only time I saw one in a walled city.

Hrmm... Zero, which is odd considering I've killed about 3-4 outside of Whiterun right near the gate. One attacked me in Falkreath, had about 2-3 in Riverwood, and I had An Elder and a Frost attack me right in front of Alduin's Wall's Temple or whatever it is called. Now that was epic. Had all the Forsaken Fighting from one side, Frost elementals, fire elementals, arrows flying everywhere, two blades charging... I just stood and watched... popping off spells and arrows at random.

Few in other places, such as any random mountain peak. My worst battle by far was on the way up to High Hrothgar, I Hit a dragon after 10-25 reloads with frost spike and engaged it, toughest battle ever with nearly no walking space. A shrine worshipper died, totally worth it.

I killed one on the hill outside Solitude (I think), and then later I got a massive shock when I was going down the hill and something rolled over me from behind, and I thought it was some kind of deadly contraption I didn't know existed...until I realised I was the dragon skeleton from earlier.

lv 55, ~80-90 hours?

In walled cities, one. Windhelm.

Un-walled cities? Hmm. Four, I think. Dawnstar x2, Winterhold, College of Mages.

I fought two at once when I went to Morthal. Never in a walled city though.

One was in Riverwood but it was pretty early on and I'm at Level 30 now. Maybe it was around Level 8-10? The other one so far was at the College of Winterhold and that may have been around Level 20. I haven't been to the western towns yet. Lately, they've taken to landing right on my head though.

Had one attack me inside Markath.

Had to stay away from Markath for a month after that, so the cell would reset and the skeleton gone lol.

It was a pleasant surprise, I had figured I wouldnt be seeing a dragon inside a walled city.

~160 hours, no dragons inside walled cities. A friend has ~150 hours and he didn't have them inside walled cities either.

One in Whiterun, one in Solitude, a few right outside Riften, one or two in Morthal and a crap load in Winterhold.
