Im a little above 30,000.At a certian point in the game, I just stop selling things,and start storing every thing I pick up, cause once I reach said point, I no longer need money, cause theres nothin els I need to buy,sept ammo every now and then.

On my level 40 I have around 35k, but I have everything I need: around 130 stimpacks, Enclave power armor, pretty much all of the special kinds a weapons and a lot of other stuff.

Current character has around 900 caps maybe?
I don't see the point in getting more caps at 50K.
At that point I simply don't care about how unbalanced the game economy is and stop hunting for them.
So will never reach 200k.

Due to the old money glitch from the Vikky and Vance, I have around 3 million caps. On my other "normal" characters I usually have around 25- 50k. I dont go overboard since a guy wont be carrying around alot of caps. Hed be a bigger target than Hoover Dam, walking around with more caps than all the NCR combined.

I never have more than 50k. My main character has bought all the implants and I have all the weapons I want. I just buy Microfusion Cells when I sell off crap I collect from Fiends and The Legion. My character now has about 18k or so. Just finished Dead Money so I might have to buy more repair kits. In this playthrough, I've been keeping EVERY piece of scrap, wrenches, tape and glue I can find to make repair kits. I think I have about 30 or so right now just from saluaging parts and a few you find laying about.

How?

I wasn't going to ask. A fully repaired Fiend outfit is worth like 175 caps alone. Go over to fiend terratory and Vault 3 and go hunting. The waepons you find plus the armors should net you at LEAST 2k caps when you're done repairing and selling.

I might exploit a certain individual who fixes stuff and can than be pickpocketed. But before that I had 30,000ish without gambling.

My current character has about 70,000 caps plus almost 16,000 in pre-war money from the Sierra Madre, which is worth about another 100K caps or so at her current Barter level. More money than she'll ever use.

The most I've got is something over 100k, I normally have about 50k at L30 because there's nothing much to buy apart from ammo and stimpaks sometimes, so I stop bothering to collect and sell.

I seldom make it over 50k, I tend to spend big once i do get the caps for it. "Urgh i could repair this myself but... screw it, i'll just buy a new one"

In my current playthrough i havent sold ANYTHING so cuz of tht i have about 4 thousand caps. On my other playthroughs i ussualy have 30 000 + caps

I usually get to about 30k then i have to buy ammo and wep repair kits and stims and a buttload of other stuff (I play on a difficulty i have no business playing on) . But it's fun and makes me think twice about fast traveling to dangerous places :bolt: . Fear is fun to me i donno why considering im a bit of a coward haha
