How do people vote for other gamepads since they don't work?

I used both. When I am gaming on the tv the controller and when I am gaming at my desk the k+m. But I mostly game on the tv.

Due to an overwhelming response regarding auto-aim from the PC demo, the decision was made to remove support for auto-aim... bla bla bla
So, there's the question - are you playing on K+M, contoller or do you like to alternate both?

I had pretty much fun in demo with controller, but aim assist may be was too assistant. it would be better to help pointing the target at start of aiming, but not continuing following it later



1000% xbox 360 controller here its all i use i dont like to hover over a kb and mouse 2" from a screen. if the pc game dont support the 360 controller i get it for the consoles. i do try and get as many games as i can for pc due to the superior graphics tho. ive never been adapt to the kb and mouse mainly becuase i grew up with consoles and its like second nature to hit button rather than search for kb keys. its just me. people who use kb and mouse actually DO have a advantage since the mouse moves the aim soooo much faster and kb mouse also takes more time to perfect. i mean everyone plays how they like and either way is cool with me but again my setup for pc games is always 360 controller.

ppl just saying gamepad is s--t for fp shooter because they just didnt even EVER tried to play with it

I use a controller for single and multiplayer and I do just fine. Even get top of the charts in some team instant action games. Its all about what your more comfortable with. I also have my PC hooked to my HDTV 32" 1080p and it looks amazing at a steady 60fps. I have a xbox360 so using a controller and sitting on the couch is like nature for me now lol so I was pretty glad to see Crysis 2 supports the controller so well. Oh I also turn off aim assist and the sensitivity up to 95% for quick aiming, and I can compete with the K&M in multiplayer so I dont feel its the handicap everyone says it is.

The last PC game that I completed with the keyboard and mouse was probably Quake, over ten years ago.

For those who say you can’t be a true PC Gamer and use a controller, well, I actually grew up more with PC’s and other non-IBM computers than videogame consoles. I have been building PC’s for 20 years.

I love the keyboard for work-related text input, but hate it for gaming.

I have never owned a PC that did not have an anologue gaming joystick or gamepad controller.

I just find it so much more of an enjoyable, ergonomic, convenient, social and relaxing experience gaming with a controller.

I can actually use the keyboard and mouse as well, and I have conquered many games using that, but I dislike the experience of sitting stuck to the chair stiff with my WASD fingers hovering for hours over a flat surface, fiddling about and playing “Twister” over similar-shaped flat keys. I find that hours of navigating my right hand over the mouse, trying not to develop carpel tunnel syndrome, is not a very comfortable experience, especially compared to using a controller.

For me, a controller is so much more relaxing and enjoyable.

In my opinion, controllers make far more sense for gaming, regardless of how fast I can target with the mouse. Again, that’s my opinion.

I have used many kinds of PC controllers over 20 years, but since the release of the XBOX 360 Controller, that is my standard controller on the PC.

Although i have x360 controller on my pc i dont use it for FPS games. K+M is a win for FPSs. Arcade games, indie, platformers, FIFA, etc.. = controller.

I use a Nostromo N52 TE and the mouse. I don't have the coordination to play using a keyboard lol, so I gotta program all the keys into the Nostromo >.<
