How many copies sold?

There are reports that over 2 million copies of Crysis 2 have been sold. Do the math. I'd say this was a successful game.

Well, alot, yes, but nowhere close to Modern Warfare 2 sales. Maybe this game is better than Modern Warfare 2 in every way, but unforunately it isn't as appreciated and popular as Modern Warfare 2.

It has still sold less multiplatform than the original sold just on PC.

It's fun, but still inferior to its predecessor.

It's because Crysis 1 is on buy for 4 years, while Crysis 2 is on buy for 3 month... I about 1 year Crysis 2 will outsell Crysis 1...

I should friggin hope so, but eventually outselling Crysis 1 as a multiplatform will mean nothing. It will absolutely not ever make Crysis1 figures on any one platform because the game simply isn't good enough.

..I imagine if C2 does surpass Crysis in sales, it will be not be by a lot either.

Proving once again that relying on COD as a standard is not beneficial for sales. People love cod but every game that has seemed to edit its sequel to be more liek cod has suffere. or perhaps its just a coincidence that this occured with Resistance 2 and Crysis 2.

Crysis 1 was only on PC, Crysis 2 is muliplatform. Now do a proper Apples to Apples comparison to PC sales of Crysis 2.

More people can actually play Crysis 2 on the PC because the hardware has caught up.
