I'd rather have two good expansions and no/really tiny DLC. Like Morrowind.

Dumb poll, I want no DLCs. Two expansions would be fine though.

Yup, pretty much.

THough if you consider mods DLC, then I want damn near infinite.

I have Daggerfall, Morrowind, and Oblivion. That's it.
Unless good reasons presents themselves, I will get Skyrim. Again, that's it.

I'd like two expansions, but I'd be surprised to get more than one. I really don't like DLC as it often looks like it was in the game and torn out to make an extra buck and worse I could see the crater in the game world of Oblivion where it was removed. It was like a billboard saying "Coming soon, $5 dollars from your wallet"... if not more of a ransom note like "Give us more money if you ever want to see your complete game".

Note Bethesda, just because Baron Microsoft demands micro-transactions for the 360 doesn't mean you need to treat PC gamers like console owners. PC gamers HATE to be treated like console users.

it seems an industry standard: 2 expansions. they give the impression that some value is being added (obviously that content has already been created....), but anymore than 2 will get us poor souls thinking "again? this is old news", so after two nothing else will come, just wishes for TES x+1, etc....

Two expansions, and I really don't care about DLC, unless it's more FO3 style and less Oblivon style. KotN was in my opinion the only worthwhile DLC for Oblivion.

Two big good expansions and maybe a few small DLCs to add some stuff in here and there.

I'd rather have one really good and expansive expansion/DLC than a million bland ones.

I abstain the vote: plain numbers of expansions and DLC make no sense to me. It's quality before quantity that matters. And beyond that: the more the merrier as long as they've got the quality aspect figured out.

A DLC thread? What are the odds the "it's content cut from the game!!!" argument will pop up?
*reads thread*
Like clockwork.

I'll take as many DLCs as they give me, but I hope for a bit more depth than what Fallout 3 had. Point Lookout was GREAT. A new area, locations to explore, more quests to do, more enemies to fight, etc. Broken Steel wasn't as good, but it gave you a few new things along with the main quest line, and let you continue. The others, though, were just fairly linear crawls. Anchorage was worth it for about one go, and after that was only really useful for the PA Training perk (still a stupid mechanic, when everybody in the entire world but the player can use it). The Pitt and Mothership Zeta were just..okay.

DLC is a great way to extend the life of a game while you're covering that year it usually takes to push out an expansion pack. Bethesda has learned, and I don't know why people keep thinking they'll repeat the same mistakes Oblivion had.

I'd almost like to see an expansion that continues the game story (like Tribunal sort of did) instead of another side area like SI or Blodmoon, but I'll take whatever expansions they release.

2 or 3 expansions. And 10 big DLC's that are worth the money. Not greedy stuff like fable and various other games have.

Yeah remember Todd Howard said in future they will be doing knights of the nine size stuff as the shivering isles was too consuming.
Personally i'm fine with it as long as it's good quality stuff they dish out.

Yea knights of the nine were good. Though they should make at least 2 expansion packs still, they can add a lot to a game thats already very good.

I'd like 2-3 expansions and a few DLC - however I would like something more then houses, more like the KoTN and seige at firemoth.

2 Expansions, 2-3 KotN level DLCs, and I wouldn't mind 2-3 smaller content packages so long as they were well built.
