I carry 4 in total I'll shorten the name cause I love the 8 names FO4 vanilla adds so I dont rename them ^^

All are heavilly nmodded and all are silenced except the .44

Deliverer 10mm (main weapon)

Freezing pipe revolver .45 (crowd control)

Mighty .308 pipe pistol (aka the "Crit Nuke")

.44 (for VATS reset)

Spoiler
Kellogs

I play pistols only so This is all I have in the weapon tab of my pip-boy, never have nades, mines, etc with me.

A wounding shock baton and the Deliverer. All I need. The only time I pick up weapons now is to deposit them back in corpses containers so that when the corpses despawn, their weapons aren't left behind. (Same save-bloating bug in Skyrim.)

His: .44 magnum, fully modded with reflex sight.

Hers: .308 combat rifle, Double projectile (formerly Overseer's Guardian), fully modded with long recon scope and silencer - but only quick mag.

It: Syringer, fully modded for maximum range.

3 each of frag grenades and mines.

I have to travel light, but I prefer it that way in the first place. I almost never use the explosives or It, and His is just a holdout weapon for use in VATS.

Well, I started with 5..(because of scarce ammo and what not.) but the more I modded them, the heavier they all got. Now I'm down to two. A fully modded up sniper rifle and a mostly fully modded up laser sniper rifle. (I use the reflex sight with it because.. well, it fires quicker and it makes no sense to have two scoped weapons.) If I ever find enough plasma parts I'll probably switch over to the plasma rifle from the laser rifle. But so far I haven't really found too many plasma parts. ...(I haven't taken any modding perks so I just have to find what I find.)

I have 20.000 carrying capacity so....ALL OF THEM. I have my reasons for cheating this way.

But mostly I use 4 fully modded with Gun Nut 2: shotgun, overseer's guardian, a silenced sniper...till I get to put suppressor on overseer. And Fat Man for when rushed in by multiple legendarys at once.

Suppressed combat rifle modded for short range, suppressed combat rifle modded for long range, and quad missile launcher with targeting computer to kill the Brotherhood of Steel and their pesky vertibirds.

Well last night I dropped off everything except a fully modded out pipe gun (since I have over 2K .38 ammo) and my sniper rifle. Going pretty good really and giving me a lot more room to carry loot. Damage with the pipe pistol isn't as good as my modded out 10mm or 45, but rate of fire is good (I didn't go auto) and since the gun is light I get a lot of VATS shots in.

Far too many! Those things weigh a ton! I really need to sort through my guns so that I'm only carrying one gun for each type of ammo.

I used to carry five or six when I was having to juggle ammo types, but once my character got wealthy enough to buy up every 5.56 bullet he ran across I reduced the number to just two ... assault and sniper rifle.

.50 Caliber sniper rifle for long range work.

Short combat rifle with bayonet seems to take care of most medium to short range work.

Combat shotgun for shooting things that fly.

10mm pistol but I'm not sure why I even carry it around any more. Haven't used it in a while.

Oh, and that knife I got from that nice Mister Pickman. Seemed like a pleasant enough fellow.

I'm surprised to see so many people carrying multiple weapon arch-types.

When I played through I focused heavily on rifleman and carried rifles almost exclusively past the really early levels.

I carried a 10 mm pistol and a minigun along with my pipe rifle and shotgun when I was level 1-10 or so... but at the point when I got rifleman rank 2 and a .45 and .308 rifle, I dropped the pistol and minigun off at home.

Honestly the .38 pipe rifle can carry you through a large portion of the game if you spec rifle and can land head shots. Since you can put a silencer and improved reciever on it at a really low gun-nut rank, it is actually a really solid weapon.

It wasn't until level 25 or so that I dropped off the pipe rifle and switched to using the .45 as my main weapon.

Up to that point I only pulled out the overseer's guardian for bosses and legends and deathclaws and power armor.

And now I'm in the 60s and I am still using the overseer's almost exclusively. Of course, now I can carry 600 pounds of stuff back to the shop, so I tend just to horde everything and then go to diamond city and take all their .45 ammo in exchange for all the garbage that I found.

2 melee one for suit one for no suit like Grognaks axe and the death claw hand
