Since I won't be playing until that evening it most likely won't be but 3-4 hours at the most. That Saturday on the other hand, at least 5-6 hours.

It depends. In France, 11/11/11 is a non-working day. So either I get the game the 10 and I play 11-23 hours, either I get it the 12 and it will be 2-5 hours :/

2-3 hours. I don't play video games for lengthy periods of time any more. I might come back in an hour or so after that and play some more, but I take breaks now and then to rest my eyes.

4-5 for me. I could absolutely go longer, but I don't want to get burned out too quickly.

*I'm a worm - I'm sure it will be more like 6-8 hours

I will only play 3 hours. I know theres 300++++++ hours of gameplay but i want to ration it because oblivion got depressing for me when i'd done every frickin possible thing on one character.

I'll be getting it a midnight, but maybe only a couple hours. Get a good night sleep then play all day.

I usually play games for 30 mins. to an hour, but since this is what I have been anticipating since December, I would think 2-3 hours tops

Lol nice poll/thread.

5 - 10 hours for me, probably closer to 10. If the gamestop by me has a midnight release then I'll play for as long as I can stay awake (probably around 10 or 11 am), otherwise, it'll be an all day thing on Friday (10 - 14 hours). My single longest stretch of gaming for a new game, fresh start was FF12 (played 12 1/2 hours). My longest stretch of gaming ever was Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Played a character all the way through, start to finish, did everything I knew of to do. 41 hours. [censored] crazy. Don't think I could ever do something like that again but if there's any game that would make me want to try, it's Skyrim.

Probably around 7 hours on Friday.
The thing is though, I will be doing other things, like having lunch with my wife, and the Skyrim will be calling me back.
btw, my wife will be playing as well, so we will have to take turns.
She will get first crack at it. Nice hubby huh?

Really depends on if the place I reserved it has a midnight opening or not.

If it does then i'll have a small 1-2 hour first session.

If I have to wait until the Friday morning then i'll probably get a 10-12 hour broken up session.
