Unless ofcourse S/he doesn't care about those answers. Most of us here don't.
I will play every day for months. 10-16 hrs a day.
Finish? I don't see that happening for me. I have almost 7K hrs in Skyrim and still have between 5 - 10% of the total content unexplored. I have started 65+ characters and will revisit for another playthrough in the near future.
I'm still playing Skyrim more than any other game although Witcher 3 solidly stole me away for 150 hours or so its now is in my rotation. So I expect I'll play it along long time. I like to take my time and do the "live another life " thing with multiple varied characters.
I still play Fo3, NV and Skyrim to this day so I'm sure I'll be playing FO4 for years to comes. How many hours really depends on other things going on in my life but if I'm not busy I can do 40 hours a week but I'll likely get around 20 maybe 30.
The Holidays will give me a lot of free time.
Infinite.
No, seriously. I spent a long time beating the restart disease and now that I have there is a character ongoing in every Bethesda game right now. I don't plan to ever stop playing these games, my characters lives in various parts of The Wasteland and Tamriel will be ongoing for as long as I can possibly manage the long fight against save game degradation and compatibility issues with whatever advanced space PCs with strange future OS's I may be running. I'm sure Fallout 4 will take up a large portion of my hours for the rest of the year going into 2016, but if I ever get burned out its right back to Cyrodiil or The Mojave or what have you while I take a rest from The Commonwealth.
I'll probably play a lot, but take forever to finish the game, as I like to do all the side quests before finishing the main quest. It took me 2 1/2 years to finish Skyrim and all it's DLC, due to other interests, work, and spending 1,000+ hours in the game.
I am going to play the game for 420 hours at 18 hours per week.
It might be a bit more at the start as I have organised 3 weeks off work to coincide with the release.
Sugar bombs and Nuka Cola is optional.
Too many lol. Seriously. I don't want to even think of the number because it will make me depressed.
Doesn't make it any more difficult for him to include the options now does it?
The first poll is kinda hard to answer. I've taken a week off work, and most of my time will be playing FO4. But after that the hours will be significantly reduced (damn work getting in the way).
It will probably take me several months to finish the main quest AND the majority of the side quests, as it will require me a few playthroughs. My first play through is almost exclusively the main quest line, only doing side quests that http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/TakeYourTime urgent. Playthroughs after that I tend to explore a lot more.
I'm not going to prognosticate how many hours I'll play because I really have no idea.
But my enjoyment and therefor my playtime is going to be predicated on just how good the core mechanics are, such as: the new dialogue system, the almost unadvlterated FPS combat; the s.p.e.c.i.a.l/player stats and the choices & consequences present in Fallout 4.
Though to be honest, i'm timorous that none of these core mechanics will be as good as their counterparts in FONV and I do have a fear that Fallout 4 like skyrim will be briefly enjoyed but forever forgotten (by me that is).I hope I'm playing Fallout 4 in years to come, like I do with most of the series but it seems increasingly more unlikely as I disagree with the ethos of the game and many of it's implementations.
For all I know Fallout 4 might be the last Fallout game I buy
As a person who doesn't like the game but is a fan of the series otherwise and want to see how the reception of Fallout 4 is like; Curiosity.
Anyway, if the game was exactly like I wanted it to be like I doubt I'd be able to log in more than 3 hours a day and I doubt I'd play it 'every' day, so, 12 hours a week maybe? I don't have enough free time to log in 40+ hours a week. I don't see how anyone does really. That seems exhausting.
Since the 11th is a Holiday probably 90 hours the first week then around 20 the following
More then 40 hours per week for about 3 months.
Unless Torment Tides of Numenera will come out this year, then i will have to split my time between them.
I play from around 4:30 pm or 5:00pm till nine or ten.. I suppose that is 4.5/5.5 hours each day if my reality is not in the way..
How long till finished? No way I could say this for sure.. Plus I get bored and switch to another game or spend those hours doing something other than gaming.
I said 20-30 hours per week but that depends. Sometimes I get really involved in the game and play way more. It will probably take me a lot longer than 400 hours to 'finish' the game.
since i only play a acerage of 2 hours a day and there are more games out there than FO 4 i guess it will be a slow proces
30/40 a week given I'll be playing most evenings and at least one marathon session every weekend.
It will take me well more than a year to do the story and most side quests, I will have multiple characters and playthroughs - some will be for achievement but most will be so I can explore different builds and quest lines.
If the game is 400+ hours on a single character this will keep me busy for a long time.
