There is no way to tell how long this game will last. Probably hundreds of hours, but I will probably pick the game up at some stage after finishing it just as I did with Oblivion, which will make me play for even more hours.

Or:

I'm already at over 100 hours and haven't even finished the MQ yet. I can easily see myself surpass 300 hours as I already have plans to roll three other characters later in the future. In Oblivion, I rolled about three characters total. I think Oblivion got around 500 hours out of me. I think Skyrim can beat that easily.

I'm already over 250 hours with my only character - yes I know, get a life and all that.... :o

How many hours will I have put in when I finally put the game down? Who knows, that same character has 0 questlines completed. 0 as in zero, none. Could be a while, but definitely over 300 hours. And then I have to try out a 2H warrior. And a Mage at some point.

And then there will be mods....

Well...I'm already at 174 hours without mods. Spread across 3 characters. The typical archetypes. But I think I have 3 more builds I want to play through so definitely 300+. When expansion and better mods are out..probably 500+

Your character's played time is displayed below the picture in the save / load menu.

Well, I'm up to 160+ hours so far, but I expect to squeeze 300+ hours out of it quite easily with all the DLC's / TC's etc coming out.

just over 150 hours for me and im pretty much done for now. i love this game but its not holding my attention like some other recent games have. ill still mess around with fun characters to find nooks and crannies that ive missed but ive done every quest i could find in the cities and settlements.

After 78 hours I think I've hit the point where I need a break. Very pleased that the amount of fun I've had has exceeded my expectations, looking forward to see if modding can add some depth to the more lacklustre elements of the game.

Months for me,if not years =) I have it on the 360 currently, still on my first char and close to 200hrs in having barely touched the main storyline. However with SWTOR on the horizon im planning to get it for the PC and play it when Swtor is down for maintenance or patching etc That might even reverse because i love TES games so much.

One thing is for sure,a couple of months from now alot of people will move on from Skyrim onto the next big title, but there will be a really solid community that sticks around. A good place to be and a good thing to be apart of imo =)

300+ easily. I'm already at 170 with my first and only character so far, and I'm pretty sure I'll get many more hours out of him. Then I'll make a totally different character, do different guilds etc. and probably get 100s of hours from that one, too.

the intro is killing me right now... not good for us rerollers... even after completing it I feel the need to spend time in Riverwood/Bleak Falls... in Oblivion, I felt I had more directions to go... sometimes I'd just fast travel to Anvil and pretend I was released there

Y'all folks already got 150-200+ hours? Are you like grown ass retired people or just have noooothing else to do? Damn.

I've got about 65 and I think I've put a lot of time in.

I'll probably get hundreds of hours out of Skyrim, including the eventual DLCs, future replays, and the time I'll spend creating mods (and installing other people's, for that matter).

We're talking months/years, not hours--once the modders can access the construction set it will be great! :celebration:
