How many hours do you think you will spend playing this game

Post » Sat May 14, 2011 8:45 am

Does the time you spend tinkering in what will now be called the "Creation Kit" (I think) count towards this? Because then I'm certainly up in 300-400 hours.

I hope it's good enough to take 500 hours of my life away from me, like Morrowind has done (at least 500 hr). I only played Oblivion for 250 hours though.

I would have to honestly say, almost 300 hours. Even thou Oblivion or any game is good. I wouldn't put to many hours into one game.

Well that's pretty meaningless. Any length of time can be measure in "just hours". You can measure the age of the universe in hours.

Anyways, as for myself, I put about 400 into my main character on Oblivion, and totaled about 600-700.

Morrowind, WELL over a thousand, and still counting.

Since I can already tell this game will be better than Oblivion IMO, I can't imagine putting less time into it, so I voted 600-700 as a conservative estimate.

On multiple characters, I will be spending well over 1000+ hours on this one I think, same as Oblivion.

Terrible habit of starting new characters after about 10-20 hours on the last >.<

I voted 800+, but I will probably play it over 1K hours.
Still, I will note let it become my life. :spotted owl:

20-50 I assume.

Morrowind I played for about 300-500 hours, Oblivion for around 100-200. I assume if the quality continues to decrease, so will my playing time.

I have about 150-200 hours in Oblivion, so a little more or less than that I assume.

i can't stand Oblivion. i hate it. i hate almost everything about that game.

but i've STILL put in at LEAST 150-200 hours a year since it came out. i'd say 300 a year for Morrowind since 2004.

i'm old now, though. old and broken. i don't have any time left. so maybe 300 in Skyrim's first year, slowly tapering off annually until i die in like 40 years.

I really don't know, considering i've spent like 20+ days on mw2( that game was awful, and i still played that much) few days in morrowind(got that recently) probably got like 5-10 days played on oblivion(first elder scrolls i played, i like morrowind better but oblivion was still great) And i put like 150 days in runescape(yes, runescape, i'm embarrassed to mention this) but i quit that well over a year ago(fortunately)

On Topic: What's this reality you speak of, I live in Skyrim!!! In all seriousness, including modding, 500+ hours.

I love all you guys with your Oblivion Hate, and those who suggest that Skyrim will svck.

1000+ hours on a single character, no way.
I lost track of how many hours I spent playing Oblivion.
I didn't put that much in Morrowind.

If it's like any other Bethesda game I've played, then I'll get exhausted with it and forcing myself to motivate myself to finally finish it. Oblivion definately comes to mind. The game becomes more of a chore then enjoyable escapism.

between multiple characters, I put in around 1500 on Morrowind and 1200 on Oblivion.
So it's probably safe to say over 1,000 hours.
