How many hours do you think you will spend playing this game

Post » Sat May 14, 2011 4:17 pm

I will completely forget about reality and this game will become my life. It happened with Oblivion and I hope it happens with Skyrim, as well.

I'd say around 150, thats what I did on Oblivion and Fallout. (Only reached 76 on New Vegas :/) And I'm on console, so I can't add more to the game with mods :(

If it werent for Guild Wars 2 and Old Republic Id probably pass the 200 mark for a single character, but I play more than just one type of game.

Lets just say I'm probably going to need a posted note of my name on my monitor just so I won't forget it. :tes:

I was going to say that it's sad that some of you will play this game for more than 1000 hours and then I remember my /played on my druid in WoW. So that shut me up.

Probably the same amount as in Oblivion. I have only played one character and it is at about 130 hours. Still finding quests to do and my skills aren't 100 yet so there is work to be done!

I voted 800+ but I will be playing thousands of hours, just not 1000+ hours on a single character  I mean on Arena I had one character, Daggerfall I had like 4 or 5 characters, Morrowind I had one character and in Oblivion I have somewhere between 20-40 characters. I lost count on Oblivion

I expect to have even more characters and hours logged for Skyrim than I have had playing the other games.

Well, I added up the probable hours... and I was horrified. :P

Since Morrowind was released, I estimate I've played well over 1 000 hours. If I continue the trend for Skyrim, accounting for its general... betterness than Morrowind, I'll likely break the 1 000 hour mark in the second year sometime, putting my total average well above 1 000 hours.

I just thought I should add that, I do have a social life, I don't sit in my basemant all day playing video games, and I do have other hobbies. I just stay up late, and there's nothing else really to do at 1 AM. :D

I have played Oblivion the least of all elder scrolls games, and I have well over 1000 hours in that.

One character at end game in Oblivion for me usually has over 200 hours on it, and ive played half a dozen that far, plus many more that I quit before that.

So thousands of hours on Skyrim, yeah, I guess Ill get that easily.
I like the radiant AI and radiant quest thing. That potentially means a lot of replay value.

Thats a month and a half of game-play nice work

For me, somewhere between 300 and 500. Leaning towards 400 to 500.

I probably spent 500 in Morrowind and 200-300 in Oblivion, a sum of all characters. I hope Skyrim will be so good as to svck me in for more than 1000 hours :woot: however my time is more limited than before, I didn't have a job back then. Yes, I think 1000 hours in 4 years is reasonable.

I think I played over 1000 hours of Oblivion, but at the cost of not playing anything else for a long time. Now I'm interested in a lot of upcoming titles, I think 300-400 hours of Skyrim over one year/ one year and a half is a good bet.

Over 500 most likely if good mods are made for the game. It also depends how long it takes before TES 6 arrives. :) I don't want to even know how many hours I've played Morrowind and Oblivion...Too much.

On a single character, I doubt I'll play more than 200 hours, until the expansions come out at least. However, I'll probably have quite a few characters. :P

Anything between 50 and 1000, depends heavily on features like the story, the voice acting, the variation in items, loot and character customization.

Um, 0 - 1,000

First, I don't know if I'll get it since there are still some red flags for me.

Second, If I do get it, I'd play it for a long while because I'd know that I'd want it, and I only get one gam eroughly every 3 years

judging by the votes...I really think that people don't know how much 100 hours is....becose so many have said their going to play 800 hours....it would take you atleast a year to get that much and even so it means you have to play the game pretty much every time every day
