Screw reality, I'll have The Elder Scrolls.

Very low numbers in the poll.
I spent 1500 on Morrowind, and 1200 on Oblivion......so I expect to have well over 1000 hours on Skyrim.

I clocked up over 400 hours on Oblivion, and I can see the same thing happening with Skyrim.

i'm at 600+ in oblivion so far and if Skyrim is better, as long as it has tons of side quests it will probably be more.

you know, i hate when people say things like what it says in your title...

first of all, im a gamer, gaming IS my life.

second, if you're enjoying yourself... i'd hardly call the time you spend doing it "wasted".

thats what life is about... being happy, enjoying yourself, not being some mindless drone serving a lying government... THAT is a waste of life.

so, how much of my life i will be THOROUGHLY ENJOYING with this game... probably several hundred hours.

200+, if there is enough content to make it possible, with a quest system forcing me to start other characters.

A couple of seconds, right before the glory that is Skyrim gives me a heart attack, and kills me.

200+ hours is the max? Hah.

I'm sure that, in time, I'll have put in over 500 hours, just like I have with Morrowind and Oblivion.

Yeah I think 200 is cutting it short as well. I've clocked over 1000 on Morrowind, and at least several hundred on OB.

Maybe a 100 or so, hopefully it's good enough to warrant more. I clocked in around 80 hours in Anno 1404 so 100 or so sounds about right.

At least 200. I mean i already spent 800 in Oblivion with one single char due to mods. So let's see what Skyrim may bring.

You do realize that 100 hours gets you one character, you must remember that you might, as I will, play with ,many different characters over the years to come. So basically the realistic number of hours is around 400, depending on how huge a time scale you give it. In the cause of 3 years, you might have played it over 1000 hours, that's a mere 1 hour each day. In one year, you would have played it around 400 hours if you played 1 hour each day, and I'm surely going to play it 2-5 hours each day. Which means the number is growing huge in a year, around 1000 already, in one year!

Definitely over 200. But spread out over a few years. Probably 100 - 150 when I first get it, then I'll keep coming back as the years go by. I mean, I STILL play Oblivion. Lost count of total hours spent on it, but probably somewhere around 500 (including using the CS). And I doubt that's anything compared to some others.

Many more then this poll has. Overall I put over 2000 hours into all my characters in Oblivion. I plan on putting more then that into Skyrim.

Since I played 800 hours on Morrowind and 400 hours on Oblivion, and I really don't think Skyrim can be worse than Oblivion, I would bet at least 400 hours, probably more.

If the game is anything like Morrowind, I will enter the game and love it dearly. If it is more like Oblivion, probably somewhere around 200 hours.
