I read Bethesda has only 100 employees who work on their main projects Fallout/Elder Scrolls and they are working on a few projects, do they need to expand the main base numbers?. Presumeably atleast 50 must be on Fallout4 duty full time

They who worked on FO4 are in the game cast. Only Todd knows (maybe few others) knows who still works on DLCs and other FO4 stuffs.

Slightly over 100, as far as we know. But they have opened a Montreal studio and are hiring new employees, so I think we can assume that they will have more than 100+ employees by the time they begin actively developing the next game. These new employees may work of different aspects of the same game, or they may work on different games. At this point we don't know how these extra employees will affect the development schedule.
what are they really doing with 100 ppl ? i mean me , 1 person , managed to fix most game problems ( from my point of view ) just by copying mods from the nexus
i'm pretty sure 1 guy can release an addon like "automatron" in 1 week
