Is Trudy the only person in the whole Mojave that will sell and buy items at the price thet are worth because it's annoying to go to Goodsprings everytime I want to sell something at a reasonable price.

As far as I know, no Vendor gives a 1:1 ratio unless you have a positve reputation with their faction/town. The 2 I use most often are Cliff Briscoe in Novac, and the Great Khan armorer at Red Rock Canyon.

You know, a high barter skill can change that for you

It depends on your reputation towards that faction and if u got a good rep with a ceartin faction you'll get a discount irregardless of your bater skill, but places with no rep like the gun runners you'll just have to buy at their price, but what really svcks is that you can have a 100 bater skill and you'll still get ripped off

Why is this even an issue? I always have mounds of loot to sell, and with my barter at only 40, I rob every merchant of their money very quickly. I generally end up trading my looted guns for slightly more useless (but still rather useless) other guns, or ammo. I have like two thousand of each ammotype (of the 8 guns I use) and never have issues with money. Why do you travel all the way to Trudy for a few extra caps?

I travel to Trudy because I pick up a load of misc items to sell so I can get an implant. The really expensive one

Barter has uses, this is one of them.

Great Khan Armorer is the only one I know that will give a 1:1 ratio. Think you need the best rep with them though before she'll go 1:1.

I remember getting good prices from Knight Torres, but I cant' confirm really, because she refuses to restock.
