One of the challenges with my current character is to see how much gold she can earn. And I've been playing that same character for nearly 600 hours.

Just hit 200k on my Assassin, and I'm on the 360, so wasn't consoled in. This game is way to easy when it comes to making money lol.

Too much. Once you get to like level 15+ ish Septims are never an obstacle to your character.

The first time Buffy went broke, it was from buying her beautiful black mare.

The second time was forking over all her gold to that pompous count in Bravil for her little house.

Alas, she just bought a pair of sigil stones and two hatred's soul arrows from her black market supplier in Bravil*, so. . . she is broke (again ).

She'll probably find a few cheap rings, little soul gems and throw them together into junk jewelry at the University altar to sell. That'll refill her coin purse quicksmart.


*PC only - not vanilla. Ungarion is her supplier. A single transcendent sigil stone (if he has one in stock) costs 10K. A single hatred's soul arrow is 1K. oo: Needless to say, she doesn't buy much from him.

Not really someone else in this thread has 8.3 million which is much higher than my current septims. Don't call me a maple leaf its insulting, it makes me feel like I live in Toronto and cheer for a [censored] hockey team.

It is our flags symbol but I'm a big hater of the Toronto Maple Leafs hockey team. So calling me a maple leaf really grinds my gears.

I know Dorian the red guard doesn't have a life because I killed him and kept stealing his money until I was well in the millions. I since learned in other files to paralyze him instead. My cousin gave me 20 bucks to get him 2000000 septims other day. He did not know of the glitch and still doesen't. XD

Current character: Had 6k but spent a lot of it on training. Now I've got 2896 septims, or there abouts.
Oldest character: About 35k, she cheated. A lot.

Does anyone know what the maximum possible amount is? My character is quickly approaching 9 million, and I'm wondering if 9999999 is the cap, or perhaps it's much higher.

A bit over 100,000 septims now. One of my previous characters had over 1,000,000. That's alot of travelling back and forth from one location to another then back again.

On my latest Healer character who's level 10, I have approx. 3000.

I know, an absolute beggar compared to some of the guys here.

How do you even get it to 100,000 without cheating? :shrug:

Alot of walking back and forth, lots of feather potions, enchantments, and spells combine for the ability to carry a ton of equipment. Maybe not cheating, but more exploiting the system.

I wouldn't call it exploiting the system; it's a lot of hard work to explore all the ruins, forts, and caves and carry that stuff out. At early levels it's multiple trips to where you can sell it but it's worth it in later levels I think...you can definitely take things easier.

I have about 20,000 septims now at level 17 but I have 4 houses and lots of gear and potions and ingredients stashed all over the place if I want to sell them. My first game I had all the houses [I wanted to see what they looked like ] but i think the 4 i have now are the ones that help me the most. This game I wanted to do the investing in stores thing and that's been something new to do.
