I only completed the main quest twice, and Shivering Isles once, although I had several characters I played extensively.

I have played the game for 1000s of hours, but I have only beaten the main quest twice, it was very crappy. I have also only beaten the thieves guild twice, the fighter's once, and Knights of the nine once. Everything else, i have beaten countless times

I've done the main quest once, but have never done every quest with one character.

No one person has ever finished Oblivion. It cannot be done. You would be able to fly without any assistance before someone finishes an Elder Scrolls game.

Finished Oblivion? What do you mean?
I guess you′re talking about the MQ. If so, I haven′t even begun it :)

I must admit that I've never completed the main quest despite playing since its release. I guess I just never found the main quest all that exciting.

I've not once completed the MQ and to be honest, I don't intend to.
I didn't do Morrowind's either, and chances are I won't do Skyrim's.

I've beaten the main quest twice, but have spent countless hours on it otherwise. Done all guilds, and have parts of guild quests three times and similar things. Not to mention mods.

I guess you mean "How many times have we finished the main quest?" Once. I also finished Morrowind's main quest once. In my opinion, main quests are not the Elder Scrolls series strong points.

I've done the main quest thrice....
My characters eventually retire, and new characters form to take their place. So, I've never finished this game. Chances are pretty good I will never finish it.
I mainly live outside the Main Quest. Most characters never do it save starting it to get those Gates open. And then I don't visit them until later anyway.

I've been playing off an on (mostly on) since the release. With many characters.

And I've never "finished" the game.

Since that doesn't make sense. Unless finished means no longer playing the game. In which case I'm not finished since I'm still playing.

I've probably logged around 200 hours or more, but never finished the main quest.

I enjoy character crafting alot more than setting out to finish the main quest. The world is so damn big, I just like to explore and find quests that my other characters haven't found.

Who knowns, maybe I'll complete the main quest this time through, but I doubt it. :)

2 or 3 times, forgot. Finished Shivering Isles once. 'Course, I've logged over 100 hours, so not all my chars are main questers.

Twice and now I'm playing it a third time. I think the main quest is pretty weak,so I'm avoiding it for now. It's everything else in the game that makes it so great.

I've finished the main quest countless times, I actually find it quite fun. I've completed the Mages Guild twice, Fighters Guild once, Thieves guild four times, Dark Brotherhood around three and Shivering Isles zero.

The main quest, about 4 or 5 times. Same with SI. DB only about twice. FG once (my least favorite guild). MG and TG countless times. Thoroughly beat everything in the game with one character... not once.
