How Many Of You are Preparing for Skyrim?

Post » Mon Oct 26, 2009 7:40 pm

There are still a few quests I have to find and do in Oblivion plus a couple of the DLCs I never fully explored, so I will have to kick my XBox into action when I have finished Fallout New Vegas. Although there is not much information on Skyrim (apart from the name, teaser and release date) I am really excited about it.

Just the annuncement makes me feel as if there is not enough time to run through every book.... quest.... and achievment b4 11-11-11! You wilalways discover
something new and fresh.

Also, I turn 18 not long after Skyrim is released, and I'll probably stop gaming not long after.

I'm happy that it's Elder Scrolls V which will be my last PC game. It seems fitting.

Ehh? How come? Please don't tell me it's because you think you'll be "too old" for games.

I'm going to have to get a new 360, one of the newer ones with the big hard drive. WIth all the Mass Effect 2 DLC, Oblivion DLC, and my other stuff on top of that I wont have room for any Skyrim stuffs.

I will likely be repurchasing Oblivion. I will have to keep myself far away from mods, though. One look at dem mods and I spend half a year downloading and installing them, trying to get them to work, failing, giving up, and eventually not playing the game at all.

Though, now that I think about it, I'd be halfway to November.

I might actually sit down and dedicate some time to Morrowind. I came into the series with Oblivion but got Morrowind a few months ago, but never really played it that much.

Well, to stop worrying about whether my comp will be able to run Skyrim on high graphics or not...

I'll probably give Oblivion one last playthrough. :)
(However, it's very possible I'll return to it sooner or later anyway.)

Also, I turn 18 not long after Skyrim is released, and I'll probably stop gaming not long after.

If you are planning on going to College/University, trust me, you will still play video games.
Nothing relieves school stress like a good video game break. I find myself pining to play more and more as my exams are nearing an end.

Hopefully I can crank Morrowind back up on my 360 and finally finish the storyline. I've had it for a few years and only really got into it a year ago, but never made it far in the story. (I'm a huge Oblivion fan, just not Morrowind until lately.)

It's very early for it. But ever since that announcement last Saturday I've played Oblivion about as much as I did when it first came out.

I'm replaying Oblivion at the moment. I have been creating (adding in mods) a modded version of the game to play over the last month, adding mods here and there. Think I'm finally at the point where I'm happy with it, and ready to play! :D

I totally used up Oblivion ^^ I did everything you can do ... I played many characters ... I installed tons of mods ... And I still play Oblivion :D
Maybe I can make a Nord character to prepare for Skyrim :P
I may also try to play TES 1 and TES 2 (never did) and do some more Morrowind.

I went to install Morrowind for another play through today but I have misplaced the disc, guess I'll have to settle for an Oblivion run instead.

I will once I am done with New Vegas (I've beaten it twice, so a few more playthroughs should be enough). Over break I should be able to play through both Morrowind and Oblivion again, so long as I am not too busy playing games I got for Christmas.

You could use Steam.

I got Oblivion on there. Even though I didn't much care for it I'm going to give it a second chance. Afterwords I might go back to Morrowind even.

I put morrowind back in, started up a new character, immediately set off to Solstheim, and promptly had my ass handed to me. It is good to be back :celebration:

I'm not even thinking about that although I am playing Oblivion right now. I probably won't need to much time to get ready for Skyrim since I'm a master in everything but Marksman which is easily my worst skill.
